YOUR ROLE: BOAT LEAD
The person who purchases the ticket is the Boat Lead for their boat. This is not just a title — it comes with real responsibilities:
Attend the Float Plan Call. You are required to join the pre-event float plan call alongside your captain. This covers route, tie-up logistics, safety protocols, and event-day timing. Missing this call is not an option.
Organize your boat. You are responsible for coordinating your group, communicating event rules and expectations, and making sure everyone aboard is prepared and accounted for.
Be the point of contact. All organizer communications go directly to you. It is your job to relay that information to your captain and your group.
The Boat Lead role cannot be transferred. If you cannot fulfill these responsibilities, please do not purchase a ticket.
